We mold a range of part sizes from two Wisconsin facilities, with strong capability in larger molded components, insert-molded parts, and recurring production work that benefits from responsive communication and stable supplier support. 

Production Molding Capabilities 

We operate out of Waterford and Saukville, Wisconsin, with tool rooms at both locations, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and 24-hour weekday production. This gives you press capacity and production coverage without relying on a single facility. 

Our press range supports small, mid-size, and larger molded parts, with horizontal and vertical injection molding capabilities. We have 48 injection molding machines, including presses from 28 to 1,000 tons and vertical presses suited for insert molding work, and can mold parts with a maximum weight of 7 pounds or with a maximum footprint of 24” x 36”.

Materials and Program Fit

Material choice affects how a part performs, molds, assembles, and holds up in the field. We work with a broad range of thermoplastic materials, from commodity resins to engineering-grade and higher-performance materials, including resins that require higher-temperature processing. If you already have a material specified, we can review how it fits the tool, part geometry, and production requirements. If you are still evaluating options, we can help narrow the material choices based on strength, cost, appearance, chemical exposure, operating environment, and expected volume.

We are a stronger fit when the program has recurring demand, defined production requirements, and enough annual volume to justify stable molding, inventory planning, and ongoing supplier support. Many of our best-fit programs involve tens of thousands of parts per year, larger molded components, insert molded parts, or existing production work that needs a more responsive molding partner.

Tool Transfer and Reshoring Support

If you are moving molded work back to a U.S.-based supplier or transferring production from another molder, E-S Plastics can help review the program before the move starts. That includes the existing tool, part requirements, material needs, available documentation, and any production or quality expectations that need to be carried over. 

Tool transfer and reshoring projects often run into problems when the handoff is incomplete. E-S Plastics’ reshoring support helps manufacturers reduce those unknowns before production restarts, especially when the part is already in use and downtime, quality drift, or supplier disruption would create risk.  

Mold Design, Mold Repair, and Tooling Support

Tooling affects part quality, cycle stability, maintenance needs, and long-term production cost. E-S Plastics has tool rooms at both Wisconsin locations and can help evaluate tooling condition, maintain tools used in production, and review mold or part-design questions that affect molding performance.

For new or revised programs, early review can help identify design-for-manufacturing issues before production starts. For existing programs, mold repair and tooling support can help address wear, damage, fit, or reliability concerns that may affect part consistency or delivery.

Secondary and Value-Added Services

When molded parts need post-mold work, we can help reduce extra supplier handoffs by keeping supporting services connected to the molding program. Available secondary and value-added services include hot stamping, pad printing, sonic welding, heat staking, assembly, and robotic adhesion.
